OOTD | Leopard Print and Khaki

After what was a rather chilly Monday it's so nice to see the sun shining again. I thought I would share an outfit from my recent trip to Morocco to help inspire your holiday wardrobes.

I am obsessed with this skirt from Miss Selfridge, and I let the colours of my surrounds inspire the rest of my outfit.

I am so glad the bum bag is fashionable again because it's so practical for keeping things safe whether on holiday or at a festival.

My obsession with New Look shoes continues with these tan sandals - they're comfortable and give you an extra bit of height.

OOTD | 70's Suede

I am totally obsessed with the 70's trend at the moment, and so had to invest in these incredible suede shorts from Miss Selfridge. They are high waisted and also aren't too short - seeing to much bottom is one of my pet hates when the sun comes out!

These are the perfect festival shorts and I would wear them with a really low cut blouse and lots of long gold jewellery but I took this photograph whilst in Morocco and so needed to dress more respectably so I teamed them with an incredible lace top.

Snakeskin shoes are all over the highstreet at the moment and these are my favourite pair I've come across and they're also incredibly comfortable.

Suede Shorts: Miss Selfridge

Lace top: Oasis

Snakeskin Shoes: Cavalli for Kurt Geiger

Necklace: Claire's

As always I love hearing from you so let me know what you think of my outfit!

OOTD | Sunshine and Stripes

It's Friday, and the sun is shining! What more could we possibly want? Today I am wearing this incredible multi coloured stripe dress from Oasis - I love the spring like colours and it means you can wear it in so many different ways depending which colours you want to pick out. This dress is amazing as it's so figure hugging it shows off your body shape perfectly.

I'm wearing it with an incredible purple handbag, just because I usually wear black or brown handbags, and so I thought this was amazing to celebrate the sun. It's from Folli Follie, is such a beautiful shape and has really good storage so you can fit loads neatly in the bag. Plus it comes in loads of different colours! I used to work for Folli Follie when I interned in Paris - it was my first real job, so the brand holds a special place in my heart!

I've picked out the white of the dress with some chunky white heels, perfect if you want a casual look but want a bit of extra height, and added some pastel pink sunglasses with a 70s shape. And finally I've broken up the stripes around my neck with my favourite statement necklace from Claire's.

Outfit:

Dress: Oasis

Handbag: Folli Follie

Sandals: New Look

Necklace: Claire's

Sunglasses: Oasis

Check out the Folli Follie here (there's a sale on too!) and Oasis here

Let me know what you think of my outfit, and don't forget to check out my post yesterday about Oasis amazing shoe collaboration with Keds. I'm going to be giving a pair away on my twitter at the end of the day too, so make sure you follow, RT, and reply with your favourite song. I'll be playing your songs on my show on Hoxton Radio between 2pm - 4pm today! Happy Friday indeed!

Until next time... x

OOTD | Oasis X Keds collaboration

Good morning guys,

I've been waiting for weeks to share this blog post with you and today I finally can, so excuse the early post I just couldn't wait any longer!

Oasis, one of my favourite brands on the high street, have collaborated with Keds to bring out four amazing and completely different shoes that launch TODAY! Each shoe represents a different personality, and the 'English Rose' shoe couldn't portray me any better.

The English Rose shoe

I absolutely adore this floral footwear with the pastel blue, purple, pink, and green colours making them the perfect shoe to step into Spring (so proud of myself for that one!). Spring has always been my favourite season because the weather gets warmer and nature comes to life, and floral prints are a big trend this season.

As well as looking amazing I was genuinely impressed with how comfortable the shoes are. They are cushioned in the soles making it feel like you are walking on a cloud - hopefully this will be the only cloud around and we'll have skies as blue as the shoes all summer! I'm wearing a size 5 by the way - I'm usually a 5 or a 6, but the 5 fitted perfectly.

As I mentioned, each shoe represents a different personality, and this is how the English Rose is described:

MY FRIENDS WOULD DESCRIBE ME AS A DREAMER OR ‘ARTY’ TYPE. WHEN I’M NOT ADDING SWEET TOUCHES TO MY HOME OR BAKING BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES, I’M LOST IN BOOKS, FILMS OR THE GREAT OUTDOORS􏰀

I am most definitely a daydreamer, it's even written on my twitter biography! And as you will know from my blog and social media I am obsessed with books, running, and creating healthy snacks and juices. I couldn't have created a more fitting shoe for myself!

If you're curious to see which shoe is fits your personality you can take a quiz here and just by doing so you can win a Virgin Experience Day!

Check out how I styled the English Rose shoe in these photos:

Outfit:

My style is always very relaxed and I often gets described as girl next door with a country twist (I grew up in the countryside). When I wear prints or patterns I like to keep everything else simple to let that one statement item draw attention. I teamed my floral keds with a simple denim dress and trilby. Denim is classically cool, a big trend this season but also cool and light for a summers day. Because I'm quite curvy, I always like to wear something fitted around the waist to show off my body shape so the belt is the perfect finish and it comes with the dress. A hat can really bring an outfit together and I absolutely adore this trilby, but also keeps those harmful sunny rays off my face - I'm big on sun protection! This outfit is simple but feminine, perfect for a summers day with friends or perhaps on a day date.

Floral Shoes: The English Rose shoes collaboration - Oasis x Keds

Denim dress: Oasis

Trilby Straw Hat: Oasis

Do you like the way I've styled the shoes? How would you style them differently? I always love to hear from you.

The different shoes and their personalities:

As well as the English Rose, Oasis' collaboration with Keds also offers three other style of shoe:

The Style Hunter, which is an animal print slip on shoe.

The Perfectionist, which embraces the nautical theme and another on season trend, blue & white stripes.

The Jetsetter, which is a tropical patterned slip on shoe.

The really great thing about this collaboration is there really is something for everyone, as I imagine if you're not a fan of flowers you might be a fan of animal print or stripes? Lucky for me I am a fan of animal print and stripes, so I'm definitely going to be getting more than one pair, especially knowing how comfortable they are.

Quiz / Competition

Don't forget to take the online quiz to find out which keds best express your personality, you can take it hereLet me know if you do it and if you think it's correct or not. Plus you can win a Virgin Experience day, which is very exciting!

If you like the look of the shoes but need some inspiration on how to style thems, then you can check out the website here or to see the shoes then go here

The perfect day time outfit (in my opinion anyway!)

I really hope you enjoyed this post and some of my excitement has been shared.

I hope you all have a lovely day in this amazing sunshine.

OOTD | Black is Best

Yesterday I showed you an all white outfit to a mixed response, so today I thought I would share an all black one. Black never goes out of fashion whether it's summer or winter.

I've worn it with an animal print scarf and heels to give it a more summer feel - animal print is a huge trend right now too, and I love the pop of colour with the addition of the blue heels and matching blue and gold necklace.

OOTD | South Beach Bikini

The sun is out in London so I thought I would share with you another bikini OOTD! I love this bikini from South Beach! The top has a really nice moulded shape and is underwired meaning it gives a lovely shape without being frumpy.

OOTD | Sunshine and Suede

The sun is out so I think that means we should get our legs out whilst we have the chance! I am loving the 70s trend at the moment and found this amazing suede skirt on the high street. `I also love this fringed bag, which is so on trend and perfect for summer festivals.

Lingerie of the Week | Beach Bikini

Instead of doing a lingerie post, I thought I'd carry on with my Moroccan theme and show off my swimwear - it is nearly summer after all!

I love this swimsuit, although you'd have to be careful not to get some rather dodgy tan lines!

OOTD:

Swimsuit: Lipsy

Lipsy have a nice selection of swimwear, check the rest of the collection out here.

I have some more amazing bikinis to show you, I'll be posting one every Saturday for the next few weeks.

Until next time... x

OOTD | Souk Style

I hope you've enjoyed my Moroccan outfit posts this week, and if you are planning on travelling to a country where you need to cover up I have given you some inspiration for your holiday wardrobe.

I absolutely love these trousers - they're so comfortable but also super stylish. I'm obsessed with the sandals too, and python print is very in right now. In hindsight I think these trousers would look way better with flats or pointed shoes, but I'm awful at wanting to wear everything new at once!

OOTD | Marrakech Markets

It's day three of my Moroccan outfit posts yet I'm still having to double check if Morocco has two R's or two C's and how do I spell Marrakech again?

There's still a khaki theme to this outfit, but I've incorporated some floral print to give it a more feminine feel. I never ever thought there'd be a day when I'd be willingly wearing bum bags, but I actually love them now. Does this mean they're in fashion or I'm just getting old? I'm not quite sure as it's my birthday tomorrow! But I think it looks stylish and it's oh so practical for carrying around a phone, lipstick (essential), and cash.

A Caribbean Cruise | Travel

It's almost a year to the day since I left rainy England to go on my first ever cruise around the Caribbean with my parents and gran. It was my first holiday in about three years, the joys of self-employment, and also the first time away with my parents for about five years so needless to say I was very excited.

We left the port at Fort Lauderdale to take a seven day tour of the Caribbean visiting St Maarten, St Thomas, and Princess Cays, a private island in the Bahamas owned by the cruise company (mental). Our ship was the Royal Princess, which is one of the newest ships in Princess Cruise's fleet.

My parents go on cruise holidays every year, and after my first trip I can totally see why. To say we were treated like royalty is a total understatement, we could not have been more accommodated for.  There truly is something for everyone and that means everything from the food, to the activities, to the excursions.

The People

The ship had people of all different ages from all around the world. There was everyone from elderly couples, to party groups of friends in their twenties, to children. The ship is big enough that you can live very different lifestyles without stepping over each other too much.

The Food

If you lack will power and have a big appetite then be warned - you will put on weight! I am such a foodie and felt like I was in heaven - every meal was a feast! Breakfast and lunch are served in the different buffet restaurants and are open from morning to evening. You get to eat as much as you want whenever you want - food is all inclusive with the ship. There were foods from every continent - Indian, Italian, American, English, Chinese, Japanese - as well as a huge assortment of desserts, cheeses, and salads.

Dinner is slightly more formal, and on entering the ship you get given a set time for your meal that you stick to everyday. I must say I struggled with this because my parents like to eat late whereas I like to eat early so I would often skip the more formal meals and just eat at the buffet, which is also open in the evenings for a more casual dinner.

There was a different theme for dinner every night too such as American night and black and white night to name just a couple of the themes, and so people would dress up accordingly. My mum loved the opportunity to be able to dress up as she doesn't get to often at home, whereas my dad, being a typically northern man, hates the fuss and so would go eat at the buffet.

The Gym

Possibly one of my favourite areas of the ship was the indoor gymnasium, which had panoramic views of the sea! As well as the indoor gym there were gym apparatus lined along the top deck of the ship alongside the running / walking path so you could workout in the fresh sea air! With so much excess eating, I forced myself to hit the gym or go on a run every morning, and I have to say it was a treat with those views! There were people of all ages in the gym, and different classes on too - such as sunrise pilates on the main deck. Bliss!

The Daytime

For the days spent on the ship, I would spend my time lounging by the pool area on the top deck. Straight after breakfast there was a morning film; this was definitely one of my favourite parts of the day (after the food!), and me and my dad would usually watch it together before I would head to one of the quieter pools away from the noise of the entertainment (games and live music). Don't get me wrong, the live music was great, and the games and competitions looked fun, but for me I wanted the trip to be relaxing.

On the days we docked, we would leave the ship to take excursions around the island and take in the local culture. My gran would always stay on the ship in the shade because she found it tiring to be walking around all day.

I loved seeing the islands, and there were so many excursions and water-sports you could book from the ship before arriving, or you could just do your own thing. There were also BBQ lunches at different locations on the island which were free to us too :)

The Evening

My absolute favourite part of the night would be the Movies Under the Stars. There were two different show times every night - at 7pm or 10pm, and you were given blankets and popcorn and could lay on the deckchairs (or in the hot tubs) to watch a film. Depending how tired I was or if I ate with my family or not I would watch either screening. I remember thinking to myself that I was actually living the dream.

My parents and Gran loved all the performances happening on the ship - there'd be dances and singers covering every genre of music imaginable. I went to the big band night, which was amazing as I love the classics by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Some nights I would head to the casino with a couple of friends I made on the ship. I never gamble in the UK, but a friend I made from Texas was a semi-professional poker player so it was fun to go down with him and be taught some tricks. I actually made some money that I used as my spending money on the islands!

Some nights I would also venture into one of the nightclubs or bars - I had so much fun one night learning to line-dance to Pitbull songs until the early hours! Yeehaa!

There were also shops where you could buy jewellery, clothes, and even art - my mum liked to browse the shops in the evenings. And there were professional photographers dotted around the ship so they were always on hand to professionally capture your holiday.

I had such a great time on the ship, writing this post has made me nostalgic. The greatest thing about going on a cruise is that you can truly have whatever type of experience and holiday you desire!

Have any of you guys been on cruise ships? I'd love to hear about your experiences. In the mean time, I'm just going to dream of where I might go next.

Bikinis for Boobs

Hey guys! I hope you're all having a lovely summer - it's so nice to get an actual summer in London, and I still have my summer holiday to look forward to. If, like me, bikini shopping is a nightmare, because the usual highstreet options don't fit your boobs in, then I thought I would recommend some brands where I've found nice ones. Click on the photo to be taken to the website for each bikini.

South Beach

A recent find, South Beach has beautiful lingerie & I love their bustier & high waist bikinis for a more vintage look. Unfortunately they don't come in cup sizes, but regular sizes (8, 10, 12 etc), but you can buy them as separates - I went for a size 14 top, and an 8 bottoms. The downside of shopping like this, is the bikini is slightly loose on the back.
