Primark AW14 | a sneak peek
Yesterday I popped along to Primark's Autumn Winter 2014 collection and it was AH-MAZING. Beyond amazing. I want everything! I had to rub my eyes and pinch myself several times to make sure I wasn't just dreaming that such nice clothes, and incredible shoes really did have the Primark label (and price tag). I thought I would share what I saw so we can all be excited together.
I am currently obsessed with boots and sandals with platform heels. I've actually just bought a couple of pairs in Topshop, which upset me greatly after seeing what Primark has to offer (without the Topshop prices). Here are some of my favourites:
And it's not just the heels they've nailed, check out my favourite flats:
The clothes were equally as dreamy. I'll begin with my favourite items from the Garden Army collection, which incorporates neutral shades with metallic, khaki, and camouflage.
Next is the Urban Renewal collection, which takes inspiration from primary colours and concrete. The inspiration behind the collection is performance wear, which they have made into everyday wear. The collection is a little urban for my style but there are a pieces I could incorporate into my style, see the images below:
Next, another amazing collection is Retro Vision. Using the quilted sport trend and mixing it with 60s silhouettes and pretty pastels, the collection is extremely feminine. A nod to retro fashion with modern fabrics. I'd recommend really committing to this collection and wearing it head to toe!
The next collections are Slavomania, which is quite 90s with all the colour. There's some leather and fur too. Then there's School's Out. Think Clueless but now. There's some tweed style two pieces and nice blouses.
Finally, the handbags. Move over Mulberry - Primark AW14 have some absolute beauties! See for yourself...
Anyway, let me know what you think of the collection, and what you will be buying. I'll race you there!
Until next time... x
