OOTD | Lilac & Pink Flower Dress & Cadbury's chocolate shoes

Good evening lovely people,

Since posting a photo of my dress on twitter and instagram earlier today, a lot of you asked where it was from so I thought I'd do a quick OOTD post. The inspiration behind the outfit was Cadbury's chocolate purple, because I popped along to look at some shoes made out of chocolate - unfortunately I'm not wearing them, but I'll include some photos at the bottom so you can see. :)

Dress: Penelope Lilac & Pose Collared Dress, Lilylulufashion.com

Shoes: Topshop unfortunately these shoes are no longer in stock as I bought them during London Fashion Week

Bangle: the Islington N1 bangle, Whistle & Bango

Earrings: Butterfly earrings, Katy Perry for Claire's Accessories 'Wildflower' Collection - the Wildflower collection  was curated by Katy Perry herself and channels summer & festival season. AVAILABLE IN STORE AND ONLINE IN JUNE, but you can check out her current collection here!

Handbag: Mulberry Bayswater - I love this bag for the day time as it's big enough to fit all my things in (including my mac book air!).

Lips: Maybelline 14 hour Super Stay Lipstick - The shade I'm wearing is 120 Neon Pink which isn't out yet, but it's really similar to shade 160 infinitely fuchsia. I've worn this lipstick out a couple of times and can vouch for the fact it stays on all night. It's nice and moisturising too so my lips didn't dry out which they do with ordinary lipsticks.

Here are the amazing chocolate shoes I went along to see. How amazing is the detailing in them? They're good enough to wear :)

My skincare routine - Face

Lots of people ask me how I keep my face clear, so I thought I'd let you into my skin care regime. I take a lot of pride in my skin as my theory is you can never get young skin back so its worth investing in.

GRWM | my sister's make up

Last week I was invited to an evening event, but I totally forgot about it until that day, by which time I'd left the house wearing no make up and inappropriately dressed. Scream!

Luckily my little sister lives in vauxhall , so I popped into Jack Wills for some weather appropriate clothes (sun / rain / sun / rain ... Repeat all day!) and then headed to her house to raid her make up bag. Here are the results...

outfit:

image.jpg

top: Eckersley Top, Jack Wills

jeans: Fernham Skinny Jean, Jack Wills

wedges: Coco-Pop toe cap rope wedge, Russell & Bromley - Confession! I bought these a few years ago because Pippa Middleton wore them to Wimbeldon and I fell in love with them. I've had them for about 4 years, worn them loads and as you can see they look as good as new!

watch: Gold Crystal Boyfriend Watch, Claire's

rings: assortment from topshop & Claire's

necklace: H&M

What do you think if the result? Isn't weird how even though you can use amazing make up, when it's not yours your face doesn't quite feel normal? It's so fun to experiment with other people's products though!

Whose make up bag would you like me to raid next? let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen... Realistic suggestions please :)

Until next time... X

Joules AW14 preview

I sometimes get invited to press days, which gives me a chance to see what next season has on free before they're out in the shops. When I was invited to Joules, a brand I've actively loved since I was little, I decided to take my camera to give you a sneak peek of what we can expect from their autumn / winter collection!

image.jpg

I went along with my friend AJ Odudu, where we ate delicious food, played in the photobooth, and tried on their amazing glasses range.

image.jpg
image.jpg

I'm moving house at the moment, and I'm also obsessing over their homeware, I'll do a couple of haul videos once I've moved in but I'd recommend checking them out too!

image.jpg
image.jpg

I also discovered this hat! I'm such a big fan of floppy - I wear them if I think it's going to rain so I don't have to worry about my hair getting wet. They're also useful for keep the sun off your face, although I don't have that issue very much in England. (Sad face!).

Let me know what you think of the collection! And also if you find videos like this interesting or not - afterall I am here to please you :)

Until next time... X

Sneak peek at Katy Perry & Claire's Collection

Claire's Accessories have some of the coolest merchandise in the world: One Direction, the Vamps, Union J. Well on the 12th May things are getting even cooler as they are launching a collection with the one and only Katy Perry! Great to see a little bit of girl power.

I went along to the Sanderson hotel with my partner in crime AJ Odudu to check out the Prism collection. Because I am now making YouTube videos, I can share with you my outfit and a video diary of the trip (please subscribe if you want to see more videos!).

Whilst I was there I bumped into my friends Electra Formosa and Em Sheldon

What do you think of the collection? I'm so excited you can probably hear me ROARRR - ok sorry, bad joke! Until next time... x

Improving Dark Circles | with ITV beauty presenter Hayley Sparkes

We are all paranoid about the dark circles under our eyes right? I decided to enlist the help of my friend, Hayley Sparkes, a superstar makeup artist who has been on loads of shows including being the beauty presenter on ITV This Morning, to offer some tips and tricks on how to reduce these under eye bags.

I would love to know what you thought of this video, and if it helps you. If you find them helpful then Hayley and I will film more videos - just let me know what you want to know about next!

OOTD | Beverly Hillbilly

We've made it to May! For those of you not in England, you don't understand what us Brits have had to live through in 2014: severe flooding, severe frost, endless rain... Despite it being officially spring, the sun is still teasing us, coming out for a couple of days and then allowing us to suffer again in intense cold and rain.

image.jpg

Ever the optimist, I decided to defy the sun and her flakey appearances, and dress as spring-like as possible. Ever the practical dresser, I decided to keep it weather appropriate with tights and boots. Et voila my British-spring outfit!

Outfit:

Floral jacket: Mink Pink - this jacket also comes with a skirt and I have been known to wear both of these at once, but in sunnier conditions (see below for a photo). I don't think its available anymore though upsettingly

Vest Top: Beverly Hillbilly by London loves LA

Denim shorts: MinkPinkDISCLAIMER: I wouldn't wear shorts this short without tights. Nobody needs to see that. These babies are from SS13.

Earrings: Claire's Accessories

Bangle: Whistle & Bango N1 Islington bangle

Rings: Topshop

Necklace: Annie Haak 'A' necklace

Boots: Topshop

Let me know what you think of this outfit.

I'd love to know what you think of this style of video. Do you prefer it to me talking?

OOTD | oh my love!

You might know my style well enough by now to know I am obsessed with matching two piece outfits and prints. It was love at first sight when I came across this piece from Oh My Love:

image.jpg

I know what you're thinking. She lives in London, it's definitely not warm enough to wear that outfit yet. Well, my friends, I am incredibly impatient so brought in the help of some granny tights. If they're good enough for Kate Middleton, they're good enough for me. And I have discovered the best and most natural granny tights in town!

Outfit:

Matching Outfit: Oh My Love

Denim Jacket: MissguidedI got this jacket in SS13 so unfortunately it isn't sold anymore, which is a shame because it gets so many compliments every time I wear it - they do have exactly the same one without the smiley face on their site.

Boots: Topshop - I can't get enough of these boots at the moment, they go with everything, are really comfortable and make me feel super tall!

Necklace: Mint Velvet - I actually got this in a goody bag, and it's unfortunately sold out, but Mint Velvet have a lovely range of jewellery

Bangle: Whistle & Bango N1 Islington Bangle

Rings: TopshopI used an assortment of stack rings from Topshop

Granny Tights: Marks & Spencer 7 dernier bare cooling tights- these tights are the best granny tights around. They look so natural, and make your legs look amazing. They also do a toeless range so you can have flawless legs in sandals.

Giles Deacon & Ann Summers lingerie launch

Today saw the launch of one of the most exciting collaborations ever! Giles Deacon and Ann Summers have got together to create some incredibly sexy (yet affordable) lingerie. Giles Deacon is one of Britain's coolest fashion designers, has dressed celebrities such as Lily Allen and Victoria Beckham, and has won numerous awards including British Designer of the Year, and Fashion Designer of the Year at the GQ Awards.

I popped into London's Soho to have a sneak peek of the launch, so check out my YouTube channel to check it out:

There are four incredible SS14 collections which are online now

Garland

The embroidery was designed exclusively by Giles and includes Lurex lace and a finishing process to give a leathery look to the lace. With deep purple tones, this collection is unapologetically sexy.

Aphra

Giles designed the embroidery in the Aphra range. If you look closely you'll see some naughty details! The pearls are detachable and can be used as cuffs.

Surrender

Surrender is a unique print designed by Giles exclusively for Ann Summers. The print looks fun, but on closer inspection is a little naughty. The collection includes a tie that is a detachable tickle restraint!

Beau

Beau epitomises boudoir heritage and is a flirty collection of big bows and full skirts.

The detail in the collections is of the highest quality. A lot of the lingerie is made from lurex lace, which is incredibly expensive as unlike normal lace it can't be cut so there is high wastage. There's lots of pretty shapes, cut outs, lovely bone corsets, and Giles has even created a print exclusively for Ann Summers (the Surrender collection). The best thing about it are the price tags - from £14 and going up to £145 it means we can all afford to look sexy.

I particularly love the rose gold bondage jewellery Giles created too, I think it would be really sexy with a black playsuit.

photo 1.JPG

The coolest thing about the day is I got to meet THE Giles Deacon who is incredibly lovely... and he shared his fizzy Haribo with me - mmm.

I also bumped into the beautiful Sam Faiers whilst I was there. I've never met her before but can confirm she is lovely.

Let me know what you think of the collaboration, and if you will be purchasing any of the items!

Until next time... x
