Kick the January Blues part 3: spiritual healing

There's always a lot of pressure to look good in the new year, as well as have a new positive outlook on your life and ambitions. I don't know about you, but I often go into January feeling a bit of pressure: pressure to make this year better than the last, pressure to deal with (and change) the negative parts of my life - and probably the lack of vitamin D doesn't help things either. For me, if I feel good then I tend to think I look better. There's always something about a happy & confident person that radiates and draws people to them. That's why I decided to focus on some spiritual healing and just good old fashioned pampering, at Elizabeth Caroline's Boutique Spa in Tonbridge, Kent.

I first met Elizabeth in her treatment room in Harley Street about a year ago and I can honestly say she changed my life, and has since become a rather good friend. I can say wholeheartedly and without prejudice that Elizabeth is extremely gifted, and I leave her treatment room each time feeling more confident, and looking great too.

Don't just take my word for it, you just have to look at her impressive press page & see her celebrity fan base! Anyway, back to my first trip to her Aquavie Spa in Tonbridge, which I made last week... 

The Treatments

I make no secret of the fact I strive for perfect skin. I am obsessed with trialling and testing beauty products for my face and body in order to rid myself of any imperfections. I swear by her A Lift Facial.  Elizabeth uses a machine which uses ground breaking nano current technology to lift, tone, renew and boost skin cell function. To be honest, I know nothing about this type of thing, but I do know that this treatment left my skin glowing - people are still commenting on how great my skin looks. It's also so relaxing and Elizabeth uses so many lotions and amazing smelling potions that I've never actually been able to stay awake! 

If you do want an equally amazing facial but more spiritual guidnce please do the Red Carpet Facial. Elizabeth uses crystals to read your chakras. I'm not going to tell you the things that we've discussed in her treatment room but Elizabeth has picked up on many of my inner feelings & offered advice and guidance. I genuinely look forward to seeing what she has to say at the end of each facial! I know a lot of people can be quite cynical about this, but I've been quite into it since a saw a psychic called Katie Winterbourne about 4 years ago. I'd love to know of anyone you have seen anyone that has been brilliant?

I also decided to spoil myself and also have an Aroma Aura Full Body Massage in which they used Decleor Massage balms. This treatment was so relaxing, and made me fall asleep - standard!  And I finished with Luxury Gel Pedicure. I went for a really nice Dusty Pink colour and would take a photo but even my well pedicured feet are pretty unattractive! A career in foot modelling is definitely not on the cards! 

The Jewellery

I have mentioned this in a previous post, but Elizabeth also has a jewellery range, which I am extremely proud to be the face of .

Elizabeth designed the range with award winning British designer Elizabeth Raine and each mala has a healing stone to help in your spiritual journey. They are devised to complement the treatments, and after mine I decided to get the One Love Mala and the Zen Friendship bracelet.

I really liked the Truth & Courage mala too, but the One Love seemed more appropriate for me.

I left Tonbridge feeling better about myself from the inside out, and inspired to make some important changes in my life. Bye bye blues. I really do think there should be more focus on inner happiness during January, and a bit of pampering is an added bonus! I cannot recommend Elizabeth Caroline enough.
