#BTS Big Brother's Bit on The Side
This evening I was invited to go onto Big Brother's Bit on the Side as Ollie Locke's friend.
I love Big Brother - I think it started when I was 12 years old and I remember I used to watch Big Brother Live 24/7 on E4 - beyond sad, I know. I find it so fascinating from a psychological perspective; I love to watch how people from totally different backgrounds with conflicting opinions interact. Add a bunch of celebrities in there and it gets even more interesting because you see them in their full glory with all their flaws. Add a good friend (slash ex boyfriend) of yours in there and it becomes even more exciting. I'm not going to share all my opinions, because you'll have to watch the show, but I really hope Ollie wins and think he really deserves it.
I was on the show with Billie Faiers, Sam's sister, who is a total babe. I've never really watched TOWIE so I had no preconceptions of her but I'm prety sure she's my sister's favourite, and her sister is coming across so well on the show. What do you guys think of Sam & Ollie in the show? Who do you want to win?
Emma Willis is my favourite presenter in the entire world. As an aspring presenter myself, I am in total awe of her and how natural she is. She's also incredibly beautiful and I'm pretty sure I spent my entire time staring at her. Hopefully it wasn't noticable!
Hair
I got my hair done by Despina at Neville's in Pont Street. Despina is brilliant at putting up hair and has created some amazing styles for me. Unfortunately due to timing (I had a meeting beforehand) she only had time to colour my hair - I've gone back really blonde - and pop a quick plait in it.
Make Up
I arrived totally make up free so quickly did my own make up whilst watching the main show. Hopefully I looked ok - I haven't seen myself on TV yet! Let me know - honest opinions please! I tried to keep my make up as natural as possible and used the following products:
Benefit Porefessional - I honestly couldn't live without this product; it just makes your skin look more flawless. If I don't want to wear make up in the day I often just wear this product with nothing else.
Avon Ideal Flawless foundation in Medium Wheat. I love this foundation because it's nice and light, but you also get a good even coverage.
Skin Chemists Under Eye Definer - I use this under my eyes as well as around my nose and on any blemishes.
Claire's Eyeshadow & Lipstick in Coral - I used the first and fourth colour from the eyeshadow palette.
Collection Longer Lash Mascara - I've only just started using this mascara and like it for a really natural look as it makes your lashes long but not too thick.
JN Beauty Eyeshadow in Plum Crazy for my eyebrows - the first product on the right is the perfect colour to darken my eyebrows a little bit.
Outfit
I am a huge comfort dresser, especially on television. If I'm not comfortable I won't be concentrating on the important things. The pink fluffy jumper is so soft and cosy and is from Love. I wore New Look metallic peep toe heels - which are surprisingly comfortable, New Look black jeggings (which by the way are the best fitting jeans I've come across - I've washed them a few times and they haven't lost their stretch).
Jewellery wise, I wore my current favourite necklace, which is by my friend and award winning facialist Elizabeth Caroline. I'm the face of her jewellery range, which I am incredibly proud of as I love what they are about (and I love Elizabeth as a person). The pink necklace I wore is called the One Love Mala necklace and is a Rose Quartz crystal which represents unconditional love. I also wore the Zen friendship bracelet from her range; it was a gift from Elizabeth and I love what it represents. On my other wrist I wore a nude strap bracelet from Story Jewellery. A simple outfit.
If you saw me on the show I would love to know what you thought :)
Until next time... x
