One of my favourite things about going abroad is getting to shop for a holiday wardrobe, well, apart from the guaranteed sunshine of course! As a Brit, usually I have to be prepared for all the seasons in one day - a coat, umbrella, sunglasses - because we never know what the weather is doing on an hourly basis. I love being able to wake up and have guaranteed sunshine, which also means you can wear sunglasses everyday without looking arrogant! Plus, wearing sunglasses means no need for makeup because let’s be honest, everyone looks great in sunglasses.

I recently spent a few days in Split in Croatia, which if you haven’t been, is the most picturesque place on the coast of Croatia. I loved my holiday wardrobe so much, that I thought I would focus this 5 ways to wear post on vacation ideas to help inspire you.

I’d describe my holiday style as very laid back, and very high-street. I’m pretty obsessed with New Look, Missguided and Pretty Little Thing as there’s so much choice, and it’s also affordable. I love ASOS for accessories, and then my new favourite discovery is a jewellery brand called Coco and Kinney. It’s a brand that has been started by a friend of a friend, and their pieces are really interesting and classic.
