A bit about me
Hey, I’m Ashley. You’ve probably guessed that by now because you’re on my site. I’m a presenter, model, writer, and DJ living in London, you probably saw that flashing around the above image if you didn’t know it already.
You can catch me doing my thing on Hoxton Radio every Friday from 2pm-4pm from anywhere in the world at www.hoxtonradio.com. All my radio shows, interviews, and mixes can be found on the Music section of my site, but I’m crazy about rap, Hip Hop, trap, grime, and R&B. My obsession with music started when I was very young and I had my first radio show at the tender age of 7. Granted it was just on my own tape recorder taking songs from the radio and making my parents record the adverts, but it was a start. I got my first taste of real presenting at sixteen when I secured work experience at BBC Radio Cumbria, and then went onto work on URN, the University of Nottingham’s radio station, whilst studying for my BA (hons) French & English Literature degree (bonjour).
In terms of presenting, I most recently hosted a 12 episode series called Style Stars on PopGirlTV, a channel on Sky and Freeview. The show saw me set fashion challenges to teenage girls. I regularly host red carpet events, and festivals, including hosting the main stage at last year’s Festifeel, a festival curated by Fearne Cotton for the breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!. I’ve presented at Clothes Show Live, for Clothes Show TV, online fashion channel Fashtag, and even backstage at the X Factor. You can view my latest showreel to the right.
Other TV appearances include Celebrity Dinner Dates (ITV), Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (channel 5), and Made in Chelsea, which I appeared in for just over a series.
As well as working as a presenter, I write for the Huffington Post, and have modelling agencies in London, Milan, Istanbul, Australia, Germany, and New York. I’ve recently fronted campaigns for George swimwear, Story jewellery, and Tutti Rouge. Finally there’s this website, which obviously takes up a lot of my time, so I hope you enjoy it.
Anyway, that’s enough about me, thanks for stopping by my site, I hope you enjoy it. You can keep up to date with what I’m up to on my News page, or contact me on the contact page (obviously).
