The other day Emu invited me to their showroom to have a look at not only their recently launched Spring / Summer footwear collection, but also their Autumn / Winter collection, which doesn’t launch for a few months. To be honest I didn’t know much about Emu before going along, other than their, dare I say, Ugg-style slippers as I own a pair and they’re amazingly comfy. Anyway, they have so many styles than I knew about, and there’s a few pairs that are on my holiday and festival wishlist so I thought I’d share them with you guys too.
The summer collection has the most incredible colour scheme of mushroom grey, jade green, cream, and tans, and has a diverse range of shoes and sandals perfect for the beach, the countryside, the city, or a festival. I love the sandals, they have them in metallic, black and brown (I couldn’t decide which I liked the most) and they have memory foam soles which makes the most comfortable ever. Trust me, I tried them. Another personal highlight is the cream slouchy ankle boots with the tan detailing – they’d be so perfect for chilled summer days and festivals (dry ones, that is!).
How incredible are they? You can browse the full Spring collection using the link here.
What had me even more excited though, was their AW16 collection. Honestly, it even makes me excited for winter to come around again (which I never want) purely so we can have access to these shoes, boots, and slippers! The colour scheme is made up of tans, greys, and blacks, and the shoes have strong grips, their infamously cosy Australian sheepskin, but loads of interesting prints and waterproof materials. There’s even leopard print, although I must apologise as I was so excited by these boots below I didn’t take a photo. You’ll just have to wait until they launch!
How incredible are they? And if that wasn’t incredible enough just check out their children’s collection. My womb literally exploded. Well, not actually literally, but seriously though!
I hope you found this post interesting, let me know either way by using the reactions or commenting. If you find these types of posts interesting I’ll do more of them. And let me know if you end up getting some Emu’s for your feet after reading this post.
